- A national commercial-finance company and obtaining a summary judgment dismissal of a plaintiff’s claim for return of fees associated with an $8.2 million commercial loan (reported in Commercial Lending Litigation News, September 2, 2004)
- A national manufacturing corporation and obtaining a summary judgment dismissal of claims filed under the Louisiana Products Liability Act; representing a national food-service company and its parent corporation in federal and state litigation based on alleged violations of federal and state environmental laws; representing a national gaming company in litigation arising out of an ad valorem tax assessment and in a dispute over ownership and management of company assets
- A national gaming company in litigation based on alleged violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act and Title VII
- Employers and insurers in workers’ compensation and other employment-related disputes; counseling employers on compliance with various federal and state employment laws; and counseling employers on the drafting and interpretation of employment contracts and non-competition agreements.
